Security Message for the Bahamas

The Department of State informs U.S. citizens that it has lifted the Travel Warning for The Bahamas and the Embassy has resumed normal operations following Hurricane Irma.  The ordered departure of U.S. Embassy non-emergency employees and family members stationed in Nassau and Freeport has been recinded. The Travel Warning for all of The Bahamas, including Grand Bahama Island, Bimini, and the southern islands, has been cancelled.
