The U.S. Embassy is pleased to announce a visit by consular personnel to Freeport, October 10 – 12, to provide routine U.S. passport and citizenship services at the Pelican Bay Resort Conference Room on the following dates and times below.
- 11:30am – 4:30pm Tuesday, October 10
- 8:30am – 12:30pm Wednesday, October 11
- 8:30am – 12:30pm Thursday, October 12

Please read this message in its entirety for all instructions. All applicants must bring to their appointment, the original document AND copies of each document for each person applying. No copying services will be provided at appointments. If you do not present the originals and photocopies, the application cannot be processed.
In preparation for your upcoming appointment, please take note of new requirements for passport applications. We will no longer accept applications that are handwritten, your application must be generated through the link below and printed with a barcode strip to the top left side of the application.

ADULT PASSPORT RENEWAL (if you possess a current or recently expired U.S. passport with 10-year validity):
If you are using a DS-82 form for your adult renewal, you DO NOT need to make an appointment. We will not be accepting any appointments for adult passport renewals. Please drop off your passport application with the required documents to our space at the Pelican Bay Resort, Conference Room, at the times/dates listed above. You are highly encouraged to pay for your passport renewal via the new online payment portal. Please print your receipt to submit with your application.
Your completed application must include:
- Completed DS-82 application form (Don’t forget to sign the document!);
- Original U.S. passport and copy of the biographic page;
- One 2×2 color photo with a white background and no eyeglass, must have been taken within the last 6 months; and
- Receipt from Pay.gov or bank draft payable to US Embassy Nassau for 4130
CHILD PASSPORT RENEWAL (UNDER THE AGE OF 16):
- Completed DS-11 application form;
- Biographic page of child’s U.S. passport (Original and Copy);
- Original birth certificate (Original and Copy);
- Photo identification (signed passport preferred) of parent(s) listed on the birth certificate (Original and Copy);
- One 2×2 color photo with a white background and no eyeglass, must have been taken within the last 6 months; and
- If the child was under 5 years of age when their last passport was issued, a series of age progression photos (one for each year) from the age that the prior passport was issued through present.
PASSPORT RENEWAL FOR AGES 16 & 17:
- Completed DS-11 application form;
- Biographic page of child’s U.S. passport (Original and Copy);
- Original birth certificate (Original and Copy);
- Photo identification (passport preferred) of the parent who will accompany the child to the interview.
- One 2×2 color photo with a white background and no eyeglass, must have been taken within the last 6 months;
PASSPORT RENEWAL FOR AGES 18 & over:
- Completed DS-11 application form;
- Biographic page of previous U.S. passport (Original and Copy);
- Original birth certificate (Original and Copy);
- One 2×2 color photo with a white background and no eyeglass, must have been taken within the last 6 months; and
- Photo identification (passport preferred).

APPLYING FOR A U.S. CONSULAR REPORT OF BIRTH ABROAD (CRBA) and FIRST-TIME CHILD U.S. PASSPORT

- Completed DS-11 passport application form;
- Completed DS-2029 CRBA application form;
- One 2×2 color photo with a white background and no eyeglass, must have been taken within the last 6 months; and
- Original foreign birth certificate of applicant child (Original and Copy);
- Proof of U.S. physical presence – please see.
- Valid government issued identification (passport preferred) of accompanying parent(s) listed on foreign birth certificate of applicant child (Original and Copy);
- Photo identification (passport preferred) of applicant child (if applicable) (Original and Copy);
- Marriage, Death, or Divorce certificate of accompanying parent(s) as applicable (Original and Copy);
A SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER IS REQUIRED FOR ALL PASSPORT APPLICATIONS
- If you have been issued a Social Security number, it must be provided on your U.S. passport application.
- If you have been issued a Social Security number and cannot remember it, or if you are unsure as to whether you have been issued one, please promptly contact the Federal Benefits Unit prior to your appointment for assistance and instructions.
FEE PAYMENT AND PASSPORT RETURN SHIPMENT
Prior to your appointment, please prepare payment using one of the following methods:
- Online payment is available for adult passport renewals only, using form DS82.
- Make bank draft payable to U.S. Embassy Nassau.
Renewal for each adult: $130
First-time adult age 16 and above: $165
Passport Card – Adult (age 16 and older): $130
Renewal or first time U.S. passport for child under age 16: $135
Passport card – child (birth to age 15): $15
Consular Report of Birth Abroad: $100
